COVID-19 ADVICE
Please stay at home! Only leave your home for groceries or medicines.
Wear a mask and gloves when leaving your home or caring for someone in your home showing Covid-19 symptoms.

Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use santiizer.

Cough into your elbow and refrain from shaking hands - maintain a distance of 2 metres from others.

Call your Doctor if you have the following symptoms:
Fever
Dry cough
Tight chest / difficulty breathing

MANAGING HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
- Get your BP measured by a doctor if you are overweight or if you have a family history if high BP
- If prescribed BP medication - always take your medication - even if you feel better!
- Lose extra pounds and watch your waistline
- Exercise regularly
- Eat a healthy diet
- Reduce salt in your diet
- Limit the amount of alcohol you drink
- Quit smoking
- Limit the amount of caffiene you drink
- Reduce your stress

WHAT TEMPERATURE IS A FEVER?
A fever in adults is a temperature of above 39.4 degrees Celsius.

Infants below 3 months old with a temperature over 38 degrees Celsius or higher should see a Doctor - fevers in infants can be very dangerous.
​
In infants from 3 months and children a fever of over 39 degrees Celsius should see a Doctor.
